Instead of giving you a countdown “9 Days image” we figure we’d give you this and ask you to like and share!

The following images are once again by the wonderful graphic designer down there in New Orleans, BigDub. The image on the left is a jersey that one of our followers, Jason Gibson requested for him to make (suppose to look like the current Cats jersey) and I actually really like it.

The image on the right is a concept of what the new Charlotte Hornets 2.0 court would potentially look like. He asked me what I thought should be included and I told him. So if there is something about the court you do not like (it is probably my fault). I told him the honeycomb patter on the court and I was always a big fan of the trail from the stinger at half court….well ENJOY! and share once again Thanks to Big Dub

Jersey and Court concept!

Well for the past few weeks we have been working with Rollin BigDub Garcia (the guy behind all the wonderful updated Charlotte Hornets Logos) trying to figure out a way to redesign our logo. When our first logo was created by me wife she did not have a great deal of time, the attention grew so fast and we wanted to have something out quickly people would identify with and recognize. The first one will always be special to us because it reminds us of when Charlotte first became excited about this idea, and my wife was able to add a personal Charlotte touch by making the big “B” shaped like the #13 for Bobby Phills. Now that we have kind of solidified ourselves as “Bring Back the Buzz” we wanted something that would capture the throwback 90s feel of our first logo but at the same time excite our followers with a bit more of a Charlotte feel. Thanks to Big Dub I feel like we have done that and I hope you love it!

The old one

The New One

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 28,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 6 Film Festivals

Also, if you are looking for some Bring Back the Buzz gear for the event, you can visit our website and purchase one of our shirts for only 15$.

Thanks for everything you guys have done up until this point, none of this would be possible. All we are doing is organizing the voice of Charlotte.

I would say that one of the top 5 questions we receive is “where can I get Charlotte Hornets gear?” and while we love sending people to our website (bringbackthebuzz.com) where you can purchase a Bring Back the Buzz or We Beelieve: Charlotte…take back your Hornets! t-shirt there are some other places where you can purchase authentic Charlotte Hornets gear. So what I have decided to do is create a list of stores within the Charlotte area that I KNOW sell Charlotte Hornets merchandise, as well as post a url to the best website I have found with Charlotte Hornets merchandise.

Carolina Place Mall:
Champs Sports
Pro Image
Sports Fan Attic
DTLR
Authentiks
Lids
Hat Shack

Concord Mills:
Champs Sports
Hat Shack
Lids: Locker Room
Lids
Pacsun
Footaction

South Park:
Lids

Marshalls (University Area):
Has the Charlotte Hornets Mitchell and Ness Replica Starter Jacket
They also have the Mitchell and Ness 1995 All-Star Warm up Jacket

Now I could put a ton of websites up I have found but this is by far the best!

Now like I said, these are the places I have seen Charlotte Hornets apparel with my own eyes, I am sure there are more places that have them. Again, I hope this is helpful to you guys.

Thanks!

Bring Back the Buzz follower Jason Gibson was keeping a close eye on the New Orleans Hornets message boards and there is someone on there who claims this is the “leaked” New Orleans Pelicans logo. I dont know about you but since we began doing this thing, we have slowly become very interested in the outcome of what takes place down there in the Big Easy. Now while this is simply speculation, this guy on the message board is claiming this is the “real deal”. Here it is…..

Well, http://www.BringBackTheBuzz.com has only been in the Facebook world for roughly 2 months and we have managed to come within 100 of 1,000 likes. Our blog has clocked in over 30,000 views in 10 months, our website is sitting around the same number in less time and our twitter account is almost at 2,500 followers (not to mention the over 8,000 followers the We Beelieve: Charlotte…take back your Hornets! has!).

If you are wondering why I am bombarding you with all these numbers, it is to show that we have the support to make a jaw dropping impression (ESPN/Sports Center Worthy) on January 19 at our SWARM TIME WARNER EVENT. If you have not purchased your tickets for the Cheap Seats (sections 205, 206) act now….because there only a few left in 205.

Also, if you are looking for some Bring Back the Buzz gear for the event, you can visit our website and purchase one of our shirts for only 15$.

Thanks for everything you guys have done up until this point, none of this would be possible. All we are doing is organizing the voice of Charlotte.
